Watching the trifecta of  “The Defiant Ones,” “Straight Outta Compton,” and the Grammy performance of “I Need a Doctor” this weekend has convinced me that Dr. Dre is the best person on this planet right now, followed closely by Eminem and Jimmy Iovine. Anyone who has a problem with race relations, NFL players taking the knee during the national anthem, or anything else that’s representative of America’s divisiveness just needs to watch these three pieces of artistry to understand that we, as humans, are all alike and  can find inspiration from one another. Especially Dr. Dre, who gave back to Compton by building a new high school with a state-of-the-art performing arts complex.
